Tilt is a pop up exhibition launched in London October 2009. It is a platform for digital artists, photographers, filmmakers, illustrators and designers of mixed media to showcase their designs alongside interactive installations. Solo artists work collectively in one space within a theme. The exhibition features artists like DJs, taking part in a unique pop up event. Part 1 focussed on Light & Colour, Part 2 recreates the juxtaposed amalgamation of artistic perception whilst addressing the contrast of black and white. ROSE ADDERS
...has been doodling since being old enough to grip a poo. Although these early experiments were not very popular, school offered hours of doodling practice time in which to improve with more accepted mediums.
Having gained popularity from creative use of profanity, pencil case graffitti and crude depictions of genitalia, Rose graduated to a bolder, more public medium with spray paint, aged eleven. This 'cherry-red' phase was short-lived, but instilled a basic love for simple and clear designs.
Years were spent drawing in libraries and parks for private pleasure, but a chance find of hundreds of felt-tip pens helped Rose start handmaking cards and postcard insults. This was successful and led, years later, to a commissioned painting.... Fast forward a decade, and Rose has done album artwork illustrations and had 4 doodle books published encouraging adults to use their imagination to amuse themselves (and perhaps others).
Rose is also a feline spiritual medium.
ROSS ADAMS
Ross Adams is a self-taught photographer, using a 1976 Canon AE1 SLR camera to capture the scenes he makes. He doesnt use digital means to create his images, preferring to adapt his equipment or scene to get the results he wants.
He is largely inspired by pseudo-scientific practice, biological imagery and anything that is invisible to the naked eye.
Ross lives and works in London and has shown work since 1999 as slideshows for clubs, cafes, bars and private functions. These hand-triggered shows have also been tailor made for many DJs, bands and laptop musicians.
His first solo show was at 'Fact Presents Art' (at Phonica in Poland Street, W1) in 2005. Ross has also exhibited work at several exhibitions for the John Jones Gallery. His work has been used for flyers and album covers and is also currently being manipulated for a music video.....
FIRST CONTACT
Audio visual and interactive artists Philip Mayer (GaiaNova) and Pedro Zaz (Showskills) present the latest incarnation of their A/V installation First Contact. The creators of First Contact have developed a number of different compositions for the installation. Each of these compositions consists of a series of eight interlinked lighting patterns, soundtracks and video sequences. These different compositions allow one to evolve the user experience over a period of hours or days. Stories can unfold over time, or one can surprise the audience by the having the installation react in a different way to how they remembered previously. This concept of compositions also allows for the creation of site-specific experiences or pieces attuned to specific audiences, infusing the soundscapes with elements from particular musical genres, for example.

YUKINESS
Yukiness is passionate about the baroque French period for its drama and theatricality. Her wigs use a variety of innovative construction processes that are unique to wig making: techniques such as felt and jewellery making as well as traditional wig making techniques. She creates daring and ostentatious creations- objects of dramatic beauty that make a real statement of style, capturing the imagination of all that see them, they are practical wig/hat fusions.
PHOTOPHONICS
Mike Blow's solo work is concerned with the relationship between sound, space and the imaginary. He is interested in the presentation of sound as a medium, its relationship to physical and non-physical objects, and its power to engage us in an emotional way through memory or by evocation. Mike curated the sound art show 'Sonic Art' in this year's Brighton Festival Fringe and is also a regular collaborator with experimental band Spacedog and recycled/found art group Circus Kinetica.
Bruno Mathez is a french audiovisual artist living in London. He has worked with composers and dancers, comedians and interactive artists in his exploration of the relationship between the video medium and other art forms. His skills cover the entire audiovisual field, from filming to video editing and post-production, installing audiovisual systems and coordinating audiovisual events.

TOM LEWIS
Tom Lewis is a premium degree pencil wizard, and mouse master of the first order. Born in 1979, he is at present working as an artist an illustrator in East London. His recent works continue his exploration of invented worlds and the creatures that inhabit them. Influences range from neon street scenes to turner-esq landscapes, degraded urban texture to 18th century japanese woodblock prints with plenty of nonsensical but beautfull stories woven between them. The paintings are multi layered, mixed media pieces, inspired by 18th century japanese woodblock prints. Tom uses a mixture of digitally painted landscapes printed as wallpaper, which are then sanded down and distressed, on which he then uses aerosols, pens, acrylics, gold leaf and what ever else is lying within reach in the studio.
